With the launch of the Smart Cities Mission in 2015, India started paving a new pathway towards transforming urban management with the power of digital technologies. While the Mission has opened a floodgate of opportunities for cities in applying ICT (Information & Communication Technology) solutions, there is also a greater awareness of the need for building on the ‘city-as-a-platform’ concept. The concept recognizes the value of enhancing engagement among all four stakeholders of the quadruple-helix model—Government, citizens, academia, and industry, along with improvements in the internal workflow and decision-making processes of city Governments. In this context, the need for city Governments to take ‘digital leadership’ has become more pronounced.

These projects share innovation and the joint action of city residents as their common denominator for solving the challenges raised by urban society and for improving, between all of us, our quality of life.

One City One Portal

The One City One Portal service of the Bengaluru Smart City Limited gives easy access to a variety of services provided by the city administration. This enables the Citizens and Stakeholders to find out details of various necessary services, registering new requests or complaints, tracking the status of any existing requests all from the comfort of your home or office alongside the mobile application. In addition to this, the portal also provides key inputs on the Heritage and Landmarks of Bengaluru city.

One City One Mobile App

Apart from providing effective and efficient services to the Citizens and Stakeholders the Bengaluru Smart City Limited also is focused in making these services easily accessible through the One City One App mobile application. The One City One App provides easy and immediate access to a host of services provided by the city in your palm. This application gives quick information and access to services on the go. The mobile application is available on Android and IOS.

One City One Number

One of the key focus areas of the Bengaluru Smart City Limited is to provide Citizens and Stakeholders with effective and efficient services and respond to their needs and interests in a respectful, reliable and professional manner. In an endeavor to achieve this, BenSCL is bringing the One City One Number feature which is a single point of contact for the Citizens and Stakeholders to access a variety of services like (list few of the services here). This One City One Number service reduces the lead time and the turnaround time and thereby enables the Administrators to provide swift services to happy Citizens.
